Dear Friends, I am proud and excited to welcome Dr. Alison Petras to the Paris Family Physicians family. Dr. Petras will soon be joining me to serve our community as a full-time family physician. She offers the full gamut of family practice (i.e. diabetes and hypertension management, PAP smears, physicals, etc.) and has a special interest in women’s health. Dr. Petras is a D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathy) and therefore will be offering osteopathic manipulation services to her patients as well. Dr. Petras is currently accepting appointments for new patients who wish to join our practice.

When Dr. Petras isn’t practicing medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, biking, swimming, hiking, pets and traveling. She will be moving to the area with her fiancé, Chris, and their children, Trenton (age 5), Kenzie (age 5), and Hazely (age 2). Trent plays soccer and is starting kindergarten this fall. Hazely loves to dance and is learning to swim. Chris owned a landscaping business in Florida before moving to Kentucky and enjoys landscaping as well as construction and woodworking. Dr. Petras graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati in 2004 and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009. She has recently completed her family practice residency at St. Petersburg General Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. I feel very fortunate that Dr. Petras has chosen to join our community and our practice. I believe that Dr. Petras and I share similar philosophies on running the office. Therefore, you can expect us to continue offering same-day appointments and short wait times. I am confident that Dr. Petras will continue the tradition of delivering high-quality care that you have grown accustomed to with Paris Family Physicians.
